Intended use

This device is intended for voice or sound recordings on a PC/laptop or stereo system in domestic households. This device is not intended for commercial or industrial applications or for use outdoors. This device is not intended for any other use or for uses beyond those mentioned.

Safety instructions

• This device is not intended for use by individuals (including children) with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or defi ciences in experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or receive from this person instruction in how the device is to be used.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
• Before use check the device for visible external damage. Do not put into operation a device that is damaged or has been dropped. There is also a risk of personal injury!
• Repairs should only be carried out by authorised specialist companies or by the Customer Service Department. Incompetent repairs can result in signifi cant risks for the user. In addition, warranty claims become void.
• To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or cables to be replaced at once by qualifi ed technicians or our Customer Service Department.
• This device must not be exposed to rain. Protect the device against moisture and the penetration of liquids and objects into the housing. Never submerge the device in water. The device could also be irreparably damaged!

Handling and operation

• Place the device on a stable and level surface.
• Connect the device via the 3.5 mm jack plug into the microphone socket on your PC/laptop or your home stereo system.
• To switch the microphone on, press the on/off button down.

Cleaning / Storage

• Before cleaning the device, disconnect it from the microphone input socket.
• Ensure that moisture cannot permeate into the device during cleaning.
• Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaners as these may damage the surface of the device.
• Clean the device with a soft and slightly damp cloth. In the case of stubborn stains, add a few drops of mild detergent to the damp cloth.
• Should you intend to not use the device for a longer time, disconnect it from the microphone input socket. Store the device at a clean, dry and dust-free location away from direct sunlight..

Disposal

Do not dispose of this device in your normal domestic waste.

This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2002/96/EC.

Dispose of the device through an approved disposal centre or at your community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.

Dispose of all packaging materials in an environmentally friendly manner.
