Preparing the Machine
No Parts Required
Procedure
1. Park the machine on a level surface.
2. Engage the parking brake and/or shift the transmission lever to the P (PARK) position.
3. Shut off the machine and remove the key.
4. Wait for the engine to cool completely (if applicable).
5. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable from the battery post.

Preparing to Install the Wireless Hour Meter
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Hour-meter assembly
1 Rear clip mount
1 Front bezel mount
2 Hex bolt (#8 x 3/8 inch)
1 Round bezel mount cover
1 Round bezel adapter
2
Hex-socket bolt (#8 x 1 inch)
2 Keps nut (#8)
Procedure
Gather the parts that you need to install the hour meter to your machine
To install the hour meter to the inside of the machine, use 3 cable ties. To install the hour meter into the
machine wall, use 1 mount assembly and its fasteners.
Note:
The rear clip mount is not required for most applications.
