    Chapter 2 Installation Installing the Hydra Borer Motor Parts Required Motor Adapter Retainer adapter Lock washer Bolt (1/2 x 1-1/4 inches) 90-degree elbow connector Motor bracket Bolt (1/2 x 1-3/4 inches) Flat washer (1/2 inch) Locknut (1/2 inch) U-Joint assembly U-Joint adapter Bolt (3/8 inch x 2-1/2 inches) Nut (3/8 inc)
  • Page 5 1. Grease the shaft of the motor and place the adapter onto the motor 2. Install the adapter and retainer adapter on the motor. 3. Place the lock washer on the bolt apply thread-locking adhesive to the bolt. 4. Secure the bolt to the adapters and torque to 160 to 165 N⋅m (118 to 122 ft-lb).
  • Page 6 8. Secure the motor assembly to the machine using 4 bolts (1/2 x 1-3/4 inch), 4 flat washers (1/2 inch), and 4 locknuts (1/2 inch) G434070 9. Install the U-Joint assembly and adapter to the motor assembly using a bolt (3/8 x 2-1/2 inches) and a nut (3/8 inch).
