Installing applications in a "Memory Stick" media

The applications can be installed in "Memory Stick" media by the following
methods.
• Install an application directly into "Memory Stick" media from your
computer using the Memory Stick Import/Memory Stick Export application.
• After step 5 of "Installing from your computer," click Changing the
installation destination. Select the application and click either >> or << to
specify "Memory Stick" media for the location to save the application.
Notes on installing applications in "Memory Stick" media:
In some applications, related files such as image files or movie files cannot be
opened (played back).
In the procedure mentioned above, select "Memory Stick" media and install the
data or application into the "Memory Stick" media by a HotSync
They are installed in /PALM/Launcher folder. Some applications from Sony
only support data in the designated folder. The data installed in /PALM/
Launcher folder in a "Memory Stick" media by a HotSync
be displayed in those applications.
In such a case, delete those data or applications from the "Memory Stick"
media with the CLIE Files application.

Installing from the Internet

You can download applications from the CLIÉ Website
(http://www.sony.com/clie/) and install them in your CLIÉ handheld.

Download the applications you want to install in your
computer, from the Internet.

Follow the instructions such as a Readme file to install the
downloaded application in your CLIÉ handheld.
If there are no specific instructions, double click the downloaded PRC
format (.prc) file and perform step 6 through 8 of "Installing from your
computer" on page 165.
