Tip: Allow hair to cool completely before 
styling.
Give your hair extra volume by running your 
fingers through the curls.
For more natural looking waves, you can 
also use the curling tongs as a hairdresser 
would with the clip closed. 
Hold the strand of hair by its tip and wrap it 
in a spiral around the closed curling tongs.

Leave the curling tongs in the hair for a few 
seconds to create the wave. Figure 2b
When the curl has formed, let go of the 
strand of hair.
Tip: For a more modern look, don't wrap the 
strand of hair starting at the roots, but leave 
the first few centimeters straight.

Button lock

To make handling the appliance easier, 
you can lock the "+" and "–" buttons.  
If the   b utton lock has been activated, the 
set temperature cannot be changed by 
  a ccidentally pressing the buttons.
● Set the desired temperature.
● Press and hold the "–" button for three 
seconds.
● The button lock is activated, and the 
  d isplay shows the 
● To deactivate the button lock, press 
and hold the "–" button again for 
three   s econds; the button lock symbol

Automatic shut-off

For safety reasons this appliance is 
equipped with an automatic shut-off 
  f unction.
● The appliance switches off automati-
cally 70 minutes after it was switched on 
or after the temperature selector 2 was 
adjusted for the last time. The display will 
go dark.
Note: Use the on/off switch 1 to switch the 
appliance back on.
Cleaning and
maintenance

Allow the appliance to cool and unplug it 
before cleaning.
Never submerse the appliance in water.
Do not use a steam cleaner.
Wipe off the appliance with a damp cloth 
and dry off with a clean, dry cloth. Do not 
use strong or abrasive cleansers.

Allow the appliance to cool and unplug it 
before storage.
