Using Automatic SuperCool and SuperFreeze
The following functions are available
depending on the section:
- Refrigerator section
Automatic SuperCool
- Freezer section
SuperFrost
SuperFrost function
For best results, turn on the SuperFrost
function before putting fresh food into
the freezer. Fresh food will be frozen
quickly, so that the nutritional value, vi-
tamin content, appearance, and taste
are maintained.
Exceptions:
- Placing food in the freezer that is al-
ready frozen.
- Only freezing up to 4.4 lbs (2 kg) of
fresh food daily.
SuperFrost should be turned on
6 hours before placing food in the
freezer section.
When freezing the maximum amount
of food, SuperFrost should be turned
on 24 hours beforehand.
When SuperFrost is turned on, the ap-
pliance will work at full power to lower
the temperature inside.
SuperFrost turns off automatically after
approximately 65 hours. The quantity of
fresh food placed in the freezer will de-
termine the duration before the Super-
Frost function turns off.
Tip: To save energy, you can manually
turn off SuperFrost once the freezer
reaches a constant freezer section
temperature of 0°F (-18°C) or colder.
Monitor the temperature in the freezer.

When the SuperFrost function is turned
off, the appliance will run at normal
power again.
Automatic SuperCool func-
tion
The Automatic SuperCool function can
be used to rapidly reduce the tempera-
ture in the refrigerator section to its low-
est setting (depending on the ambient
temperature).
Tip: Automatic SuperCool is particularly
recommended for the rapid chilling of
large amounts of fresh food or drink.
When Automatic SuperCool is turned
on, the appliance will work at full power
to lower the temperature inside.
It turns off automatically after approxi-
mately 12 hours.
Tip: To save energy, you can switch the
Automatic SuperCool function off your-
self once food and drinks are suffi-
ciently chilled.
When the Automatic SuperCool func-
tion is turned off, the appliance will run
at normal power again.
