Installing a memory module Memory modules can be installed in the memory module slots on the base of the computer. You will need a small Phillips screwdriver for this procedure. If the computer has been running recently, the memory module(s) may be hot.
Page 30 Adding memory (optional) Click the Shut down button in the lower-right corner of the Start menu. The computer closes all open programs, shuts down the operating system, and then turns off. Unplug and remove any cables connected to the computer, including the AC adaptor.

Avoid touching the connector on the memory module or on the computer. Grease or dust on the connector may cause memory access problems.
