the panel to SEND SLEEVES.

SIGNALING-SEND 1 and 2 , and R E C LOOP jacks
(1) A r m a t u r e of pulsing r e l a y on the s l e e v e
of SEND 2 jack.

When a 31 0- type plug
of a 3-conductor c o r d
is
i n s e r t e d into the jack m a r k e d SEND RELAY, the tip, r i n g , and s l e e v e conductors
of this c o r d give a c c e s s to the c o n t a c t s of the SEND r e l a y and thereby p e r m i t pulsing e x t e r n a l c i r c u i t s
s u c h a s o s c i l l a t o r s , e t c . a t a speed and

b r e a k d e t e r m i n e d by the a d j u s t m e n t of the TTS 26B.
All
o t h e r c i r c u i t s in the s e t a r e disconnected f r o m the SEND r e l a y c o n t a c t s when the plug
is i n
the SEND
RELAY jack except f o r the s p a r k s u p r e s s i o n . c i r c u i t .
The position of the
SPARK
SUP turnbutton switch
d e t e r m i n e s whether o r not the s p a r k s u p p r e s s i o n c i r c u i t is a c r o s s the r e l a y c o n t a c t s .
The SEND RELAY
jack
is
connected to the SEND r e l a y c o n t a c t s a s follows:

O p e r a t e the LINE ( E ) key to O F F HOOK or ON HOOK t o apply off hook o r
on hook, r e s p e c t i v e l y , toward the line.

O p e r a t e the DROP ( M ) key to O F F HOOK o r ON HOOK to apply off h o o k o r
on hook, r e s p e c t i v e l y , toward the d r o p .

Receiving m e a s u r e m e n t s may be m a d e simultaneously.
