CONTROL WIRING DIAGRAMS

The CVW300G2 has two sealed connectors, XC9 and XC10, which
are used to wire control signals from the drive.

BASIC CONNECTION FOR FIRST POWER-UP

WEG motors used with the CVW300G2 are supplied with a speed
sensor (encoder), and it must be connected to the CVW300G2 for
the reading of the signals according to

NOTE!
In order to connect the encoder to the CVW300G2,
you must additionally short XC10 pins 3, 5 and 7,
together with XC10 pin 8. The WEG´s encoder supply
is done by the +15 V aux power supply, in XC10
connector, pin 9.
When present, the HMI Interface must be connected to the
CVW300G2 by means of a shielded cable with a female DB9 terminal,
according to
Table 8 on page
9.

In order to purchase a HMI accessory, refer to the user manual.
Most electric drive applications need an accelerator. It is
recommended to use electronic accelerators with potentiometer
with minimum impedance of 2 kΩ and with the wiring suggested in
Figure 6 on page
9.
