Installing the Switch
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Plate
1 Ignition switch
1 Decal
2 Screw
1 Wire-harness adapter
2 Key
Procedure
1. Open the hood and secure the prop rod.
2. Disconnect the battery; refer to the Operator's
Manual.
3. Remove the cover plate
1. Bolt (1/4 x 3/4 inch)
4. Remove the old ignition switch
(Figure 2).

5. Align the plate with the edges on the frame
(Figure 4).

6. Using the plate as a template, drill 2 holes in the
frame as shown with a 4 mm (5/32 inch) drill bit.
7. Assemble the decal, wire-harness adapter, and
ignition switch to the plate
Note:
Discard the included backup washer.
Install the parts shown.
