. Set FUNCTION switch to FREQ A.
Set DISPLAY TIME to mid-position.
. Set TIME BASE switch to a suitable gate time.
. Depress MEMORY
switch.
. Depress SEP switch.
Select desired input conditions of channel A (at-
tenuation, coupling, slope).
Select suitable input impedance.
8. Apply signal to input A (0 to 160 MHz DC coupled,
30 Hz to 160 MHz AC coupled).
Adjust
LEVEL
A control
until stable
display
is
obtained and lamp at input lights permanently. Pull
knob
to PRESET
if triggering
at zero
volts
is
desired.
Adjust DISPLAY TIME to desired position.
Depress BURST switch to measure
burst signals,
e.g. a pulsed carrier.
