DSl Level Remote Loopback

When loopback circuitry between local and remote equipment is required for
installation testing, etc, remote loopback at DSl (1.544 Mb/s) level is
provided by operation of the
MUX
unit
RLB
switch for appropriate channel. Refer
to Figure 3-7.
4.08
This remote loopback can be performed only when MUX unit ON LINE LED is
lit and is available for both optical and DS2 signals at high speed
(6.312M/s) side.
