Procedure:

Turn the adjustment screw for the maximum output levels. If these
levels do not match, turn the adjustment screw until both of output
levels match together within 1 dB.

After the adjustment, lock the screws with locking compound.

Tape Speed Adjustment
Procedure:
Mode: Playback
Perform high speed adjustment before normal speed adjustment.

1.
Set to FWD playback mode.
2.
Short test pin CN504 on Main board.
3.
Adjust RV501 on main board so that the frequency counter reading
becomes 6,000 + 60 Hz.
4.
After adjustment, disconnect CN504 shorted in step 2.
(normal speed adjustment)
1.
Set to FWD playback mode.
2.
Adjust RV502 on Main board so that the frequency counter reading
becomes 3,000 + 30 Hz.
Frequency difference between the begining and the end of the tape should
be within 5%.
