This appendix provides interface-cabling guidelines for the OM 2000.
RS-232 DBS Interface Cabling
The OM 2000 is configured as a DTE:

supports 300, 600, 1200, 2400, 9600, and 19200 bps

The OM 2000 can either source or sink the transmit clock. This is a configuration
selection. Sinking the clock is needed when sending data through a modem by a
networkTI line. In this case, the modem sources a clock that is locked to the
