    Important Tips Important Battery Tips I M P ORTANT The battery pack is a consumable item. The rate of battery deterioration depends on the usage environment, but as a guide, it will reach the end of its life after 1-3 years of use or 300-500 times of charging. If the battery pack swells or battery usage time is dramatically short even after being fully charged, we highly recommend replacing the battery.

  • Page 46: Replacing The Battery Pack

    The computer automatically enters the hibernation if the battery level becomes lower than 5 % in the modern standby (sleep) state. Since the sleep mode of this computer supports the modern standby mode, the battery consumption in sleep mode is large. Connect the AC adaptor before the battery level becomes zero.
  • Page 47 5. Insert the battery pack (D) until it touch to the secured position. Be careful about the battery pack direction. In case that the projection does not match the dents of the computer, detach the battery pack once, then slide it while pushing it lightly to avoid floating.

Do not block the antenna area with your hand or body. To use Bluetooth, set [Bluetooth] to [Enabled] (default) in the sub-menu of [Wireless Configuration] in the [Advanced] menu of the Setup Utility.

    Wireless WAN <Only for model with wireless WAN> The model with wireless WAN allows for data communication using the incorporated communication module. The computer is equipped with a nanoSIM card slot and an eSIM. eSIM allows wireless communication without a nanoSIM card. This model is DSSS (Dual SIM Single Standby) and you can only make either nanoSIM Card or eSIM Active.
