SERVICE INFORMATION
To replace the cordset (13), remove foot (11) by first
retracting the snap underneath by means of a pair of pliers
and then sliding the foot sidewards in. Then remove 2x Torx
screw (B) and the plastic plate to reach the terminal block.
To open the appliance, remove 6x small screw (A) at the
bottom. Remove the front panel by pushing it upwards to
release the 2 hooks at each side of the panel. (In case of
HD 3455 turn the panel over the right hand side because of
the wiring of the Turbo motor).
Heating element assy (17) can be removed from both
element supports (10). Now element supports can be taken
out by sliding sidewards (after removing the small screw).
The switch unit can be openend by releasing 3 hooks and
removing printed cover (1). Thermostat assy (3) with dial
(2) slide out in upward direction after retracting the plastic
stud (slide flap switch housing (7) from the thermostat hole.

Switch caps (4) can be taken off. Remove switches (5) by
releasing their clamp-fits at both ends by means of a screw
driver from the rear side.
To replace the HD 3455 Turbo motor, remove grill (14) by
releasing 4 hooks from the turbo housing and taking off to
front side. Unscrew 2x screw (C) and take out motor/fan
assy (9).
Pilot lights (6) are integrated in the wiring and cannot be
replaced in an economic way.
At re-mounting take care that all wiring is running free from
heating element and not clamped between assembled
parts.
For Torx screws use screw driver Torx T20S
(4822 395 50458).
After repair check the appliance on proper functioning.
