S-VHS System Selector
indicator will be lit.
S-VHS cassette tape.
Preparation
1. Slide the Camera/VTR
Selector Cover on top of the S-VHS
Movie forward so that it covers the Tape Running Buttons.
2. Slide the Operation On/Off Switch (OPERATE) to the right to
turn the S-VHS
Movie on.
3. Insert a video cassette with erasure prevention tab.
eA few seconds later, the S-VHS Movie will change over to the
recording pause mode.
@ Set the White Balance Mode Selector to "AUTO".

@ Set the Focus Mode Selector to "AUTO".
For more details, see page 83.
© Set the S-VHS System Selector to "ON/AUTO".
@ Place the S-VHS Movie in the shooting position.
Grasp the Handgrip and adjust the length of the Grip Belt with
the Velcro tape closure to the size of your hand.
eAttach the Lens Cap to the Grip Belt.
@ Press the Start/Stop Button.
eThe Recording Indication "REC" is displayed in the EVF and
the recording starts.
elf the Tally indicator On/Off Switch on the underside of the
EVF is set to "On", the Tally Indicator on the front of the EVF
will be lit, to indicate the recording start to the people in front of
the camera.
