Use this supplement together with original service manual.
How to remove/mount the flexible wire of remote switch employed for the T-V5L.
When removing the LW circuit board for servicing the models, exercise care with the following points:

1. Insert the tip of the driver into the openings in the switch.

2. Move the driver down so that the claws of the switch open.

3. After opening both claws, lift the mold portion,
When employing a JVC standard tool.
1. Insert the pawls of the JVC tool into the openings in the switch as
shown in Fig. 2.
. Press the tool down to disengage the claws of the switch.
. Lift the mold portion to remove it.

When mounting the circuit board, align the claws and depress the mold portion.
Note: Be most careful when handling the flexible wire.
Do not bend it sharply or twist It.
Corrections of the T-V5L
The AC primary switch of the power supply circuit is corrected as shown.
