• Charge the main battery. See "Using the Battery" on page 13 for
more information.
• Charge a spare battery.
NOTE:
Before you connect your device to a computer for the first time, ensure
that you install ActiveSync on the computer from the Dell™ Companion CD.
NOTE:
After the battery is fully charged, complete the initial setup process on
your device. Then use Microsoft
device with the data on your computer.
To connect your device to the cradle:

Place the cradle on a flat, level surface near your computer.

Connect the cradle cable to the USB connector on your computer.
3
Connect the AC adapter to the cradle and to an electrical outlet.
