• Using a screwdriver, remove thetwoscrewsthatcon-
nectthefrontandrearbaseassemblies.
• Carefully s eparate thefrontbaseassembly f romthe
rearbaseassembly. Remove t hefrontbaseassembly.
NOTE: Thesepieces aretightlyjoined. I t maybehelp-
ful to usea mallet t o lightly tapthe areawhere the
assemblies m eet.
• Remove t herearbaseassembly.
• Withtheassemblies s eparated, cleanwoodparticles
andresinfromthe bladearea, d ustbagport,frontand
rearassemblies a ndallsurrounding a reas.
• Applya thincoatof general purpose grease in slotsor
onthebearing platewhere thebaseslides.
• Replace t he rearbaseassembly.
• Replace t hefrontbaseassembly. Replace andtight-
enthescrews thatconnect t hefrontandrearbase
assemblies.
• Reinstall or replace the blade.
• Secure the shoewiththewashers andscrews.
• Replace t hedustbag.
CLEANING THE DUST BAG

• Unplug the biscuit joiner.
• Remove the dust bag.
• Slide the clip off the end of the dust bag.0
• Thoroughly clean the dust bag by shaking out all
debris.
• Replace the clip.
• Replace the dust bag.
