Connecting to a network

Connecting to a network via wired or proxy server connection enables you to do
network-related or Internet-related activities such as file sharing and online media
streaming.
For more details on online media streaming, refer to the section Streaming
online media in Chapter 3.

Wired connection

Using DHCP IP (network setup with a router)
Using DHCP IP allows the router to automatically assign an IP address for your
media player.
To connect to your network:
1.
Connect one end of the RJ-45 cable to the LAN port at the back of your HD
media player and the other end to the LAN port of the router.
