4.8 Using the CLI Performance Monitor

The CLI Performance Monitor is a command line scripting utility that provides
access to all functions of PowerVault Storage Manager and some additional
performance statistics. In Microsoft Windows, the scripting utility is named
smcli.exe and is located by default in the c:\program files\Dell\MD
Storage Manage\client directory. The complete reference guide Command
Line Interface Guide for the MD3000/3000i is located on Dell's support website at
http://support.dell.com/manuals.
The following are examples of CLI commands.
The command to run the CLI Performance Monitor is:
SMcli -n ArrayName -c "set session performanceMonitorInterval=5
performanceMonitorIterations=30;save storageArray performanceStats
file=\"performance.csv\";"
