Customization for Shooting Styles
Assigning Functions to the Front Dial and

Control Dial

Assign commonly used functions to the front dial and control dial, by
shooting mode.
Assignable Functions
Functions you can assign to the front dial and control dial vary depending
on shooting mode. On the setting screen, you can assign aspect ratio
switching (= 8 0), i-Contrast (= 1 32), white balance correction (= 1 35),
or step zoom (= 1 41) to modes indicated by in the following table.

• <B>: aperture value (= 1 63); <M>: shutter speed (= 1 62)
• When multiple functions are assigned to the <7> dial, press the <
switch between them.

Press the <n> button, choose [Set
z7 Func.] on the [4] tab, and then
press the <m> button (= 4 8).
Press the <q><r> buttons to choose an
item.
To configure the settings, press the
<o><p> buttons, choose an item (either
press the <o><p><q><r> buttons
or turn the <7> dial), and then turn the
<z> dial to change the function.
