Removing the Air Baffle from the bc2500 The blade bc2500 PC ships with an air baffle installed, as shown in the following image. You must remove this baffle (3 screws) to access the RTC battery. Removing the Hard Drive from the bc2200/bc2800 To remove the hard drive from the bc2200/bc2800 blade PC, follow these steps: Remove the three screws (1) that secure the hard drive cage to the blade PC.
Remove the hard drive from the cage by removing the four screws (circled in the following image) that secure the hard drive in the cage. Remove the hard drive from the cage. To replace the hard drive, reverse the removal procedures. Replacing the PC Battery When your blade PC no longer automatically displays the correct date and time, you may need to replace the battery that provides power to the real-time clock.

Remove the existing battery. Install the new battery. If you are replacing the battery on a bc2800 Blade PC, reinstall the heatsink assembly. Spread thermal grease on the heatsink to provide good contact between the heatsink and the processor. Place the heatsink assembly in position and fasten the four screws to secure the assembly to the blade.
