Important firmware notes
• If you intend to use Windows Dynamic Disk (software RAID) on top of your hardware RAID there
are some cautions to be considered. For more information, see the section "Real World: Dynamic

• Failover time is affected by the number of system volumes; the more volumes there are, the longer
the failover time when a controller fails.
