III. IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM
A. Outline
Figure 2-15 shows a block diagram of the main functions of the image processing system.
The image processing system converts the signals read by the contact image sensor into digital
data, performs various image processing, and outputs the data to the host computer via USB
port.
