RESPONSIBILITIES
OF THE CONSUMER
This warranty applies only to products in ordinary household use, and the consumer is responsible for the
items listed below:
1.Proper use of the appliancein accordancewith instructionsprovidedwiththe product.
2. Proper installation by an authorizedservicer in accordance with instructionsprovided with the appliance and in
accordancewith all localplumbing,electricaland/orgas codes.
3. Proper connectionto a groundedpower supply of sufficientvoltage,replacementof blown fuses, repair of loose
connectionsor defects in housewiring.
4. Expensesfor making the appliance accessiblefor servicing,such as removalof trim, cupboards,shelves,etc.,
which are not a part of the appliancewhen it was shippedfrom the factory.
5. Damagesto finishafter installation.
6. Replacementof light bulbsand/orfluorescenttubes (on modelswith these features).
EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not cover the following:
1.CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGESSUCHAS PROPERTY DAMAGEAND INCIDENTAL EXPENSES
RESULTINGFROMANY BREACHOF THISWRITTEN ORANY IMPLIEDWARRANTY.

2. Servicecallswhichdo not involvemalfunction or defectsinworkmanshipor material,or for appliancesnot inordinary
householduse. The consumershallpay for such servicecalls.
3. Damagescaused by servicesperformedby servicers other than ElectroluxHome ProductsNorthAmerica or its
authorizedservicers;use of partsotherthan genuineElectroluxHomeProductsparts;obtainedfrom personsother
than suchservicers;or externalcauses suchas abuse, misuse,inadequatepower supply or acts of God.
4. Productswith originalserial numbersthat have beenremoved or alteredand cannot be readilydetermined.
