Key Cover and Music Rest

CAUTION
• Hold the cover with both hands when opening or closing
it. Do not release it until it is fully opened or closed. Be
careful to avoid catching fingers (yours or others,
especially children's) between the cover and the unit.
• Do not place objects such as a piece of metal or paper on
top of the key cover. Small objects placed on the key cover
may fall inside the unit when the cover is opened and may
be nearly impossible to remove. This could cause electric
shock, short circuit, fire or other serious damage to the
instrument.
To open the key cover:
1.
Hold the front edge of the key cover top with
both hands, then lift the key cover gently and
fold it back.
2.
Raise the folded cover and lean it against the
front panel.
3.
Unfold the music rest.

To close the key cover:

If the music rest is unfolded, fold it back.
2.
Pull the cover down and toward yourself
slowly.
3.
Unfold the cover and gently lower its front half.
