Changing the heat setting
Choose the heating element and in the setting area select the desired continuous
cooking setting.
Turning off the heating element
Select the heating element, and in the setting area set the value to 0.
The residual heat indicator will appear after about 10 seconds.
Note
The heating element regulates itself by turning the heat source on and off. The heat
source may turn on and off even at the highest power setting.

The following table provides a few examples.
Set the element to heat setting 9 for bringing to the boil or initial frying. Then switch
back to the appropriate setting.
