Formatting the Card
Jfthe card is new' or was previousJy formatted by another camera or
computer, format the card with the camera.
@ When the card is formatted, aH images and data in the card wHJ
be erased. Even protected images will be erased, so make
sure there is nothing you need to keep. If necessary, transfer
the images to a computer, etc., before formatting the card.
Select [Format].
® Under the [_°] tab, select [Format],
then press <_>.

Format the card.
® Select [OK], then press <_>.
_, The card will be formatted.
_y,. W hen the formatting is completed,
the menu will reappear.
® For Iowdevel formatting, press the
<_ > button to checkmark [Low JeveJ
format] with <,7>, then select [OK].
