    For one year from date of purchase, when this Craftsman Lawn Mower is maintained according to the instructions in the instruction manual, Sears will repair, free of charge, any defect in material and workmanship.     ASSEMBLY UNPACKING ANDASSEMBLY Install the curvedhead bolt from the outside of the handle on the other side, as shown in Figure 2. Install the remaining star • Your mower carton contains the mower and 1 plastic bag. washer and plastic knob on the threaded end of this bolt. The bag contains 1 curved head bolt, the two plastic knobs, Examine the mower to ensure that both plastic knobs and star 3 star washers and the cord strap required for assembly.

    OPERATION You are now ready to cut without mulching. The special mower blade is designed to operate while discharging, bagging, or mulching. In order to install the Mulch Plate simply reverse the steps listed above, rotating the plate counterclockwise as you insert it into the mower deck, as shown in Figure !4.
