Capturing an Image in the Focus Frame

The automatic focus works only if the subject is in the focus frame when the shutter button is first
pressed halfway down. Position the camera so that the LCD monitor frames the desired
composition. When the focus locks on the subject, the focus frame lights up green. Press the shutter
button all the way down to release the shutter and take the photo.
If the camera is unable to lock focus, the focus frame will turn red.

Using the Optical and Digital Zoom

The camera features a 3× optical zoom and a 4× digital zoom, which together are equivalent to a
12× zoom.
