• Ifyou operate the zoom, the brightness ofthe image may c hange.

• The e xposure adjustment indicator will c hange towhite a nd the
selected exposure will b elocked.
• During exposure lock, press 0 twice t oreturn the camcorder to
automatic exposure.

• Ifthe recording program ischanged during exposure lock, the cam-
corder will r eturn toautomatic exposure.
Manual FocusAdjustment
Autofocue may not work well on the following subjects. In such case,
focus manually.
• Reflective surfaces • Fast moving subjects
• Subjects with low contrast • Through wet windows
or without vertical lines • Night scenes

• Adjust the zoom before you start the procedure.
1 Open (A) the joystick guide.
2 Select (AV) [(_ Focus] and press O.
The current focus is locked and [MF]
appears.
3 Push the joystick (41) or (ll_) once to
verify if the image is focused.
