Symptom Cause and Remedy
LAMP/COVER flashes in -> Close the hm]i_ cover securely, then tighten the screws securely.

flashes) -> Close the air filter cover securely. ((_ page 57)
LAMP/COVER flashes in -> The lamp has reached the end of its useful lifespan. Replace the
red. (A repetition rate of 3 lamp. ((_ page 55)
flashes) -> The lamp has reached a high temperature. Wait until the lamp
cools, and thell turn Oll the power again.
I/(.D (On/standby) flashes -> The lan is broken. Consult with qualified Sony personneh

4 flashes)
I/(.D (On/standby) flashes -> The internal temperature is unusually high. Check to ensure that
in red. (A repetition rate of if nothing is blocking the ventilation holes or whether or not the
2 flashes) pr_iector is being used at high altitudes.
I/(_) (On/standby) flashes -> Disconnect the AC power cord, then confirm the I/(_
in red. (A repetition rate of (On/standby) lamp is turned off. Turn on the power again after
6 flashes) re-connecting it. If the indicators still light up, the electrical
system has a problem. Consult with qualified Sony personnel.
