OPERATION
WARNING
In case of an Emergency,
the engine can
be stopped
by moving
the Choke
Lever to
Full Choke
Position,
If
the motor
wifl
not be operated
for
a
]eriod
of time,
if it is to be removed
from
the
boat,
or
if it is to
be tilted
up, we
recommend
the
following
practice
to
prevent
spil_age
from
the
carburetor
throat
and
bowl
and
to
prevent
gum
formations
in
the
carburetor
during
storage:
1.
Close
fuet
shut-off
valve
and
air
vent _rew
at fuel filler cap,

Aflow
motor
to run at idling
speed
until
it
stops
of
its
own
accord,
indicating
the
carburetor
has
run
dry.

you
may
need to adjust
the idle .......
speed using Idle Adjusting
Screw,

the
Screw
clockwise
tO
increase
motor
speed
and
counter
clockwise
to decrease
it.
The

idle speed
adjustment
must
be done
with

throttle
grip at full closed position
and the
idle speed should
be as low as possible white
