  • Page 4 The HDD is a high precision recording instrument and because of its long recording capability and high speed operation it is a very special device that is easily susceptible to damage. As a basic rule, save important content to a disc as backup. •...
  • Page 5 • How to hold a disc or card • Handling precautions Do not touch the recorded surface or the terminal surface. aDo not attach labels or stickers to discs. (This may cause disc warping and un-balanced rotation, rendering it unusable.) oWrite on the label side of the disc only with a soft, oil-based felt pen.
