if clothes

properly
for the washer,
they are
sorted
properly
for the
dryeL

Bounce ®Fabric Conditioner DryerSheets havebeenapproved forusein all GE Dryerswhenusedin accordance
with themanufacturer's instructions.
Donot overload.This wastesenergy andcauses wrinkling.
Donot drythe followingitems:fiberglass items,woolens, rubber-coated items,plastics,itemswithplastictrimand
foam-filled items.
Careand Cleaningof the Dryer
TheExterior: W ipe or dust any spills or washing
compounds
with a damp cloth. Dryer control panel
and finishes may be damaged by some laundry
pretreatment
soil and stain remover products.
Apply these products away from the d_yeL The
fabric may then be washed and d_ied nommlly.

not covered by your warmnb,:
The Lint Screen: Clean file lint screen
before
each
use. Lint buildup
in the screen
restricts
air flow,
which
causes longer
diTing times. The screen
is
locamd
at the bottom
of the door opening.
Remove
by pulling
straight
up. Remove
the lint and replace
the
screen.
A waxy buildup may form on file lint screen flom
using dITer-added fabdc softener sheets. To remove
this buildup, wash the lint screen in warm, soapy
water. Dt T thoroughly and replace. Do not operam
the d_Ter without the lint screen in place.
The Exhaust Duct: Inspect and clean the exhaust
ducting at least once a year to prevent cloggdng. A
partially clogged exhaust can lengthen the drying
time.
Follow these steps:

plug from the wall socket.

the duct flom the dryeL

the duct with the hose attachment
and
reconnect
the duct.
TheExhaust Hood: C heck flom the outside that the
flaps of the hood move freely when operating. Make
sure that there is no wildlife (birds, insects, etc.)
nesting inside the duct or hood.
