A The first 3 digits indi( ate water meter operation as iollows:
• 000 (steady) =soti water not in use...no flow through tile meter.
--OPEN A NEARBY SOFTWATER FAUCET-
• 000 to 199 (continual) = repeats display for each gallon of water passing through tile meter.

If you don't get a reading in tile display, xxdthfaucet open, pull tile sensor from the xal,_eoutlet port. Pass
a small magnet back and forth in fiont of the sensor. You should get a reading in the display. If you get a
reading, shut offxxwter supply, unhook the in and out plumbing and check the turbine tbr binding.
BThe letter (P) and dash (es) indicate P()SITI()N sxxdtchoperation. The letter appeming means the sxdtch
is closed; the dash means the switch is open. Use the TOUCHor HOLB(RECHAR6ETONI6HT- RECHARGE
NOW) button to manually advance the vahe into eath (),( le and ( he( k ( orrect sxxit(h operadon.

CWhile in this diagnostic screen, the fi)llo_dng infi)rmation is available and may be beneficial for various
reasons. This intormation is retained by the computer fiom the first time electrical power is applied to
the control.
• Press and hold the UP button to display the number of days this control has had electrical power
applied.
• Press and hold the DOWN button to display the number of regenerations initiated by this control since
the SR code number was entered.
F_ Press the SELECTbuttonand hold in three seconds until a Service Rating code appears in the display.
Repeat this step if the SR code is not displayed.
For correct water softening system operation,the SRnumbermustbe SR17for model GXSF23Z, a nd SR35
for modelPNSF35B.
Toresetthe code,press the L t or DO'_,\_'q button until the correct number shows.

Press SELECTto return to the present time display, tithe code was changed, m ake ALLthetimersettings.
NOTE" If the (ontrol is left in a diagnosti( display or a flashing (lisplay when setting times or hardness, present
time automatically returns ifa button is not pressed within finn nfinutes.
