    Oven Door Bracket A--m_ oJUSl:men (some Side Swing Models) If the oven door is too loose or too tight to open, it is possible to adjust it. There is an adjustable bracket located on the front frame under the door on the handle side. (see figure) To have an oven door opening loosen, push down the adjustable bracket and to have it tighten, lift up the bracket.

    Oven Baking For best cooking results, heat the oven before baking cookies, breads, cakes, pies or pastries, etc... There is no need to preheat the oven for roasting meat or baking casseroles. The cooking times and temperatures needed to bake a product may vary slightly from your previously owned appliance.

    Broiling Broiling is a method of cooking tender cuts of meat by direct heat under the broiI element of the oven. Preheating Preheating is suggested when searing rare steaks. (Remove the broiler pan before preheating. Foods will stick if placed on hot metal.) To preheat, set the control(s) to BROILas instructed in the Owner's Guide.

    Oven Cleaning Cleaning the Self-Clean Oven (some models) Adhere to the Following Cleaning Precautions: • Allow the oven to cool before cleaning. • Wear rubber gloves when cleaning any exterior parts of the oven manually. CLEANFRAME During the self-cleaning cycle, the outside of the wall oven can become very hot to the touch.

    Oven Cleaning Porcelain Enamel Oven (some models) Porcelain has a smooth finish and is a type of glass fused to metal. Oven cleaners can be used on all interior oven surfaces. REMOVE SPILLOVERS AND HEAVY SOILING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. REGULAR CLEANINGS WILL REDUCE THE NUMBER OF MAJOR CLEANINGS LATER.

    General Cleaning (continued) TO Remove and Replace Oven Door (side swing door models, some models) To Remove Oven Door: Pull the door open. While supporting the door with one hand, remove the 2 screws securing the top hinge to the door. Remove the top hinge, then lift up the door to clear the lower hinge pin and remove the door.
