PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS

WARNING:
* To avoid personal injury, never remove or place a workpiece on the table while the tool
is being operated.
* Never place your limbs inside of the line next to warning sign while the tool is being
operated. This may cause hazardous conditions (see Fig. 16).

Always clamp or vise to secure the workpiece to the fence; otherwise the workpiece
might be thrust from the table and cause bodily harm.
The extension wings help keep longer workpieces stable and in
place during the cutting operation.
(1) Insert the 8 mm screw into the hole located on the base.
(2) Set the lock support rod under the side of the base.
(3) Then with the 8 mm screw for the lock support rod temporary
stop.
(4) Insert an extension wing into the two holes of the lock support
rod.
(5) Push an extension wing until it contact with the base.
(6) Fasten the 8 mm screw and fix an extension wing.

Warning Sign
When transporting or carrying the tool, do not
grasp the extension wing.
There is the danger of the extension wing slipping
out of the base. Grasp the handle (see Fig. 1)
instead of the extension wing.
The stock stop facilitates continuous precision cutting
in lengths of 10" to 16-21/32" (253 mm to 423 mm). To
install the stock stop, attach it to the extension wing with
the 6 mm wing bolt as shown in Fig. 15.
