Before Using the Remote Control
Open the battery compartment
lid on the rear of
the Remote
Control.
Press and slide to open,

Install 2 batteries (size AAA) into the Remote
Control.
Carefully
install the batteries to match the polarity
markings inside the battery compartment.

Close the battery compartment
lid.
Notes
* Battery life is about 1 year. (The life depends on the
conditions
of use.)
• Replace both batteries when the Remote Control is
unstable or not possible.
= Remove dead batteries immediately
to prevent battery
acid from leaking into the battery compartment.
• If you are not going to use the Remote Control for a
long period, remove the batteries.
CAUTIONS:
• Do not throw batteries into fire. Dispose
of them in a
designated
disposal area.
• Do not combine
used old batteries with new ones.
• Do not mix battery types.
When handling the Remote Control
• For correct operation,
press the buttons on the
Remote Control in intervals of at least 1 second.
• Keep the unit away from heat, humidity,
and sources
of electrical shock.
• Be careful not to drop or hit the Remote Control.
• Be careful not to spill water on the Remote Control or
to place it on anything wet,
• Do not take the Remote Control apart.
Operating Range
The Remote Control must have a "line
of sight" with the
infrared remote sensor on the front of the TV. It must be
within an angle of 30 o on either side of a line
perpendicular
to the front panel. When using the
Remote Control directly in front of the TV, the effective
operating
distance is about 5 m (within 30 ° on either
side of center). Be sure there is no obstruction
between
the Remote Control and the "IV.
