Before using for the first time
Checking the programmed water hard-
ness level
Switch the appliance off by pressing
the "On/Off" button.
Turn the programme selector to the
"Stop" position.
Press the "Start" button in and whilst
doing so at the same time switch the
dishwasher on using the "On/Off" but-
ton. Release the "Start" button again
within two seconds.
The "Salt" indicator light will start flash-
ing.
Note:
If a different indicator light is on or flash-
ing, the process must be repeated.
Exception:
The "Rinse aid" indicator light will come
on if you have not yet added rinse aid
or if rinse aid needs replenishing.
Click the programme selector from the
"Universal 55°" (1 o'clock) as far as
the 8 o'clock positon.
When the programme selector is at the
position which corresponds to the
water hardness setting already pro-
grammed, the "Start" indicator light will
come on (see chart "Programming and
setting the water hardness level").
Turn the programme selector to the
"Stop" position.
Switch the appliance off with the
"On/Off" button.
