This program is used to setup and control which client programs have access to Net Server. It is
installed with the Net Server.
To access the database containing the
settings you must first open the database
(by pressing the Open button) and then log
on with a valid username and password.
The default access username and
password is:
Username: Admin
Password: admin
User Auto Creation
To make it easy for users to be added, an Auto Creation capability can be enabled for users using the
local port only. This is primarily intended to allow Net Phone and Chat users to load their client
software and create a user name and password when they login the first time. The user will take on the
default parameters for a user of that application. For the administrator to control the access for each
user, this option should not be enabled. To manually create or modify users go to the "Clients Tab".
To allow Net Server to automatically add
new clients when they first logon, go to File
> Settings for the following dialog. Check
the Allow Net Server to automatically add
new clients if this option is desired. A
second option to Also show clients that
have acted as a service will show or not
show clients that act as a service. Click
Okay.
