2. To run USB 2.0, a USB 2.0 interface must be pre-installed on the computer or
added as a system expansion. The gigabeat functions as a USB 1.1 device when
connected to a USB 1.1 interface.

Installing Windows Media

To transfer music files to the gigabeat, use Windows Media
®
Windows Media Player 11 or 10 is not installed on your computer, follow these
instructions to install it from the CD-ROM that shipped with your gigabeat.
1 Insert the CD-ROM into your computer.
2 Click Install Windows Media Player 10/11.
3 Follow the on screen instructions.
