The lamp replace tim e, it is necessary to carry the following calculation. Confirm the lamp used time in the [LAMP settings]

For PT-LX351E / PT-LW321E
Lamp use time = [Lamp used time (Normal)] + [Lamp used time (ECO)] × 0.75
For PT-LX321E
Lamp use time = [Lamp used time (Normal)] + [Lamp used time (ECO)] × 0.67
For PT-LW271E / PT-LX271E
Lamp use time = [Lamp used time (Normal)] + [Lamp used time (ECO)] × 0.83

Replacing the Lamp unit

Attention
When the projector is mounted on a ceiling, do not work with your face close to the projector.

Attach the lamp unit and the lamp cover securely.
z
When you experience difficulty in installing the lamp, remove it and try again. If you use force to install the lamp, the
z
connector may be damaged.
Do not loosen other than designated screws.
z
Lamp cover
1 ) Turn off the power by following the procedure in "Powering off the projector".
( page 27). Remove the AC power plug from the wall outlet. Wait at least 1 hour and

make sure the lamp unit and surroundings are cool.
2 ) Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the lamp cover screw and open the lamp cover.
Open the lamp cover by pulling it slowly toward the direction of the arrow.

3 ) Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the two lamp unit screws until the screws turn
freely. Pull up the handle, and pull out the lamp unit gently.
4 ) Insert the new lamp unit in correct direction. Tighten the two lamp unit screws
securely with a Phillips screwdriver.
5 ) Close the lamp cover, and tighten the lamp cover screw securely with a Phillips
screwdriver.
Reset the Lamp Hours Used

After replacing the lamp unit, make sure to reset the usage time in the [Clear Lamp Hours] menu. (
