Dismissing an Existing SED

To remove the physical disk definitions from system use, issue the dismisspd <PD_ID>...,
where <PD_ID>... specifies the PDs, identified by integers, to be removed. For example, to
dismiss a PD with ID 1, issue the following command:
cli% dismisspd 1
After the system manager (sysmgr) dismisses the drive, it is cryptographically erased (provided
data encryption was enabled).

Description
Enable data encryption on SEDs.
Back up the authentication key file.
Back up the authentication key file.
Restore the key-file from an external source to the controller nodes in the
StoreServ system. This is needed only if there is a catastrophic problem and
the key-files on all nodes are destroyed or corrupted.
Show the data encryption status. (See
115).)
Change the authentication key.
Back up the authentication key file.
Dismiss and remove a drive from the system. This also performs a cryptographic
erase operation on the drive.
Used to replace drives, especially in HP 3PAR StoreServ 10000 Storage systems.
