Before servicing the ThinkPad tablet 2

Disabling the built-in battery
Before replacing any FRU, ensure that you have disabled the built-in battery by pressing the emergency
reset button inside the emergency reset hole using a straightened paper clip.
Removing the SIM card
Some models of the ThinkPad tablet 2 you are servicing might have the SIM card that the customer has
installed.
If the tablet you are servicing has the SIM card, remove it before you start the servicing.
After you finish the servicing, make sure that you insert the card back into the slot firmly.
