Cleaning the excess liquid filter

At least once a week, the liquid waste filter should be cleaned as follows:
— with the waste disposer switched on but not functioning, press the filter
release button;
— lift out the filter, pulling it out;
— clean the filter carefully by washing it with water, then dry thoroughly;
— put the filter back in place and close the door.
