* Turn the control clockwise to set the entire hotplate to a lower heat setting: 5, 4, 3, etc.

Switching on and off
Ensure the pan is the right size.
Switching on: turn the control fully anticlockwise, beyond heat setting 6.
Release the control. *
Switching off: turn the control clockwise to the 0 setting.
Switching on: turn the control fully anticlockwise, beyond heat setting 6.
Release the control. *
Switching off: turn the control clockwise to the 0 setting.
