■ Basic call functions

Making a call

1. Key in the phone number,
including the area code. To edit
the number on the display, press
or
to move the cursor and
press
Clear
to delete the
character to the left of the cursor.
For international calls, press
twice for the international prefix
(the + character replaces the
international access code) and
then key in the country code, the
area code and the phone number.
2. Press
to call the number.
3. Press

End call

Making a call using the phone book

Redialling last number

Answering or rejecting an
incoming call
Press
to answer an incoming
call and press

or close the grip to reject
an incoming call. Note that after
opening the grip you have about 1
second to press

tone is muted. Then either answer or
reject the call.
Tip: If the
Divert if busy
function has been activated
to divert calls, for example to
your voice mailbox, rejecting
an incoming call will also

Speed dialling
Press
Names
and select
Scroll to the speed dialling key
number you want.
• Press
Assign
and then Search.
Select the name first and then
the number you want to assign to
that key.
• If a number has already been
assigned to that key, press
Options, and you can view,
change or erase the assigned
number.
